New Next Gen Precision Bipods

Leapers' UTG brand has a wide array of bipod solutions across shooters, disciplines, and budgets. Over the past 5 years we made the planful investment to develop a high performance optics line, INTEGRIX, graded for professional tactical applications and precision marksmanship. As we tested these long range optics on the road, we found it a natural pairing to return to our bipod offering and create the next generation for precision shooters. 

The UTG Goliath line of bipods is a natural progression from our big bore bipods launched in 2020. Our UTG Over Bore Bipod allowed for easy application on multiple rifles and the over bore design allowed the shooter to get low to the ground. The UTG Big Bore Full Stability Bipod had a thick heavy duty design specifically targeted for .50 cal, big bore shooters. 

The UTG Goliath bipod is purpose-built for precision long range shooting, developed in tandem with our long range and extreme long range performance optics. The Picatinny bipods are wide-set and low profile with a high strength-to-weight ratio, available in 2 different heights. These first two SKUs are launching to dealers in Q1 2025 with ARCA versions to follow.

The Leapers UTG brand was born in the 1990's and is well known for providing entry level tactical solutions. At first, our goal was for any shooter starting out to be able to outfit their build with our products end-to-end, for a really good price. 

As we launched our UTG PRO brand made in USA, we embarked on our next journey: solution driven products that fuse form and function, distilled into what is truly critical for the discerning citizen. Pushing ourselves to that last 5% where the difference is in the details. All the while upholding a focus on what's truly needed for the customer, from real functionality to transparent pricing. The UTG PRO true ambidextrous receiver set and UTG PRO handguards for MP5 are proud examples, all Michigan-made. 

Now we make a concerted effort to elevate the solutions provided under UTG. We still aim to be your end-to-end solution provider and deliver quality at a great price. The UTG Goliath line is purpose-built for precision long range shooting to ground and bolster your position. Ideal for the benchrest shooter looking to minimize movement, PRS and competition shooters, or the reigning king of the 2 mile. For shooters considering Accu-Tac and Atlas bipods for their builds, we developed this with you in mind. 

The new UTG Goliath bipods come in two center heights: SKU number TL-BPFS02Q is medium profile at 8.01-12.24 inches, and SKU TL-BPFS03Q is ultra low profile at 5.90-8.05 inches. The low profile option allows you to get lower in prone or benchrest position, and pushes beyond what is widely available on the market. 

Rated for .50 BMG, these bipods feature a wideset 60 degree open angle and low center of gravity for the extra stability and support needed on heavy ELR rifles or anyone looking to combat recoil. Tried and true in the lab and on the range, Goliath bipods undergo extensive temperature and humidity testing, drop testing, and hundreds of rounds of live fire to ensure recoil endurance. 

The Goliath bipod features two independently adjustable tilt and pan levers for added customizability when setting your shooting position. Your tilt (or cant) tension is adjustable up to 40 degrees, and pan adjustable up to 28 degrees left and right. The levers allow you to adjust the tension of movement and tighten to lock the pan or tilt in place. The lever position when tightened can also be changed to shooter preference so mechanisms are easy to access and out of the way. 

The first two Goliath bipods come with a tool-free tension adjustable Quick Release Picatinny base, with ARCA versions coming later 2025. Legs are lockable, three-position foldable, and center height adjustable with the ability to fine tune and lock your height between 7 and 14 preset options depending on your center height.

The Goliath platform features QD rubber oversized feet for added traction and is compatible with most aftermarket QD foot pads.
